The new G1 phone released by Google to compete with the iphone!
Quite pretty eh!

Comes in white, brown and black.
Will be released in the states on Oct 22 at $20 cheaper than the 3G iphone.

Damn.
I was just planning to terminate my contract to get the iphone!

Last Saturday at ECP.
Three knees, buy a nice athletic top and new track shoes for me, and I'll join you in a truely healthy weekend next time k!

Seafood dinner at Seafood International Market & Restaurant (or maybe some other name) after cycling.
We had peking duck, chilli crabs, salted egg crabs, grilled sotong, half a chicken and some 四季豆.
The peking duck noodles was seriously sedap, and the crabs were damn fresh.
But I still much prefer the salted egg crabs @ G7 at Geylang (even though the crabs there are not as fresh).
I heard that there's a nice salted egg crabs place somewhere in Ghim Moh though!

Healthy day cycling at ECP today.
But barely 15 minutes into it, and I was wondering how I managed to survive through an entire night cycling in hall last time.

Nonetheless, great day out ending with a wonderful seafood dinner at a discounted price.
Thanks to kupon discovered by dearest three knees!

P.S: Aftermath is a butt that hurts though. And oh, aching quadriceps. Plus perhaps an expansion of the hole in my pocket.

Me heart soft-shelled crab handrolls.
Even at yes, 1145pm, dear.

That said, I personally think Hotpot Culture at Marina Square is not bad for a steamboat.
It's not like the usual type with a big steamboat pot for everyone to share; one pot per person is the way things work here.
But there's golden mushrooms and beef slices and other cooked food such as sweet and sour fish available!
Not to mention chocolate fondue with bananas, strawberries and marshmallows.
What more can I possibly ask for?

$19.80++ for weekday dinners.

Just saw this letter in ST Forum: Making friends or making out?

I am appalled to read that in universities, the orientation programs involve making a guy take sweets from a girl's mouth and do push-ups on top of a girl. At 19 to 21 years old, these young impressionable minds, practically babes in the woods, could be influenced into a life of shallow relationships!

I think we should legislate and ban orientation events to protect these young minds. For instance, it should be against the law to make guys take sweets from girls' mouth. And ban guys from not selecting less attractive girls to partner with at these events.

Not only that, there should be mandatory jail time and caning for those who label students who are uncomfortable participating in these activities as "squares". God forbid we teach our 20-year-olds to think and decide for themselves, and develop some backbone against peer pressure.

University students are practically kids, although they have the bodies of adults. We must protect them from the evils of the wanton and lurid world of university orientation activities. Today, they may be taking sweets from each other's mouths, tomorrow, who knows? They may be actually kissing people they don't like or complete strangers in some club or disco!

Perhaps the goverment can consider assigning chaperones to accompany these university freshmen at these activities, to provide moral guidance and make social and sexual decisions for them.
